AVOCET LIFTING Established in late 2011 in Riga, Latvia, as a new manufacturing unit, focussed on the production of high grade polyester lifting and lashing products including endless round slings, webbing slings and products used for cargo lifting and tie-down applications.
AVOCET LIFTING have 2500 square metres of manufacturing facilities in Riga covering raw material manufacture, weaving, dyeing, sewing, testing (we have our own SAHM SPLICE 100T test bad) and certification as well as a significant inventory of finished product ready for immediate despatch.
AVOCET LIFTING production and technical staff each have a minimum of 15 years of experience within the lifting industry and take great pride in combining the highest quality with the very best in competitive value for all of our products and services.
AVOCET LIFTING supply products directly from our Latvian manufacturing unit for distribution to most EU countries with a strong distribution presence in many of these countries including Scandinavia and UK.
AVOCET LIFTING have fully integrated and self-contained production from raw material to final product, giving us 100% control of our quality from start to finish and making us one of the most flexible and competitive manufacturers of textile lifting products in Europe.
AVOCET LIFTING manufacture products for all major industry types including; Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Automotive, Mining, Engineering, Farming and the Food Production Industry. Commencing March 2012 we will be delivering all products as standard with our revolutionary Tubiguard coating giving oil and water resistance, extending sling life and reducing sling weight caused by soaking in water on decks and platforms.
